New Assessment System Facilitates Data Collection and Insights and Supports Students’ Matriculation for Education Licensure Programs

Examining its internal assessment capabilities for an upcoming accreditation, the public co-educational research University located in Columbia required a next-generation assessment solution that could disaggregate data at the unit, program and cohort level of student performance and then link directly to outcomes.

Students can now submit key assessments from their course-based experiences into the learning assessment system, as well as add evidence to the Teacher Education Profile.The Teacher Education Profileis an electronic portfolio in which candidates securely submit pertinent documentation and participate in key matriculation milestones throughout their licensure programs.
