TMP Directional Marketing Wins Two Awards at Yellow Pages Association’s Annual Conference & Exhibition

NEW YORK (April 29, 2009) – TMP Directional Marketing (TMPDM), the largest local search marketing agency, announced it received two awards yesterday at the Yellow Pages Association’s (YPA) Industry Excellence Awards Gala in San Diego in the Creative Design and Process Innovation categories.

TMPDM received a gold award in the Creative Design category for its original ad design work for client U.S. Cellular®. In the Process Innovation category, TMPDM won a silver award for its Local Search Usage Study conducted by comScore, which examined consumer usage of print Yellow Pages, Internet Yellow Pages, Search Engines and Local Search sites.

“We are honored that YPA has recognized TMPDM’s achievements, as we continually strive to provide our clients with creative advertising campaigns and informative proprietary research that helps drive lead volume and impacts their bottom line,” said Mike Flanagan, CEO of TMPDM.

A similar TMPDM study was conducted by comScore in 2007 to generate a year-to-year comparison. The main objective for the study was to offer TMPDM clients category specific insight on how consumers use different offline and online media channels when looking for local business information.
