Connect with local police, fire departments and other first responders about your safety protocols. Familiarize first responders with your school emergency plans including response and drill procedures and building diagrams.
5. Empower constituents with actionable response plans
Offer teachers, staff and faculty safety plans with detailed response procedures. Reviewing plans with constituents based on their roles and responsibilities at school prior to an emergency will help them take action when it matters most.
