Fairfax, VA, August 15, 2005 – Building on recent funding and expansion, Rivermine Software, a leading business applications provider for enterprise telecommunications management (ETM), today announced the appointment of Dan Nolting, a former PeopleSoft vice president and general manager, as executive vice president of sales.

Nolting will oversee the development and implementation of the sales organization’s overall strategy, building upon an existing solid foundation of Fortune 1000 enterprise customers. Bringing more than 20 years of technology sales experience, Nolting spent 13 years spearheading Midwest area sales efforts at J.D. Edwards. In 2003, with PeopleSoft’s acquisition of J.D Edwards, Nolting directed the company’s Great Lakes commercial operations, which represented more than $140 million dollars in sales. He also held previous sales leadership positions with Software Alternatives Inc. and DataTech Services Inc.

In addition to Nolting’s appointment, Chris Etheredge and Bill Dana were named regional sales managers. Etheredge will manage the South Central territory and Dana will cover the West Coast area.
