FAIRFAX, Va., December 14, 2004 – To support its aggressive growth goals, Rivermine Software—the leading business applications provider of Enterprise Telecommunications Management (ETM) solutions—today announced the appointment of Stewart Curley as CFO. Curley brings 20 years of financial and operational leadership experience with emerging software companies, specifically spearheading numerous public and private financial transactions.
”Stewart’s expertise in successfully leading numerous emerging software companies, complemented by his role as a strategic business advisor, gives him the ability to hit the ground running at Rivermine,” said Mark Logan, Rivermine’s CEO. “He will be a vital member of the executive team as the company continues to add global enterprise organizations to our growing client roster.”
Prior to joining Rivermine, Curley most recently served as CFO for Plateau Systems, a leading e-learning software developer. In addition, he holds extensive experience from senior leadership positions with Digital Paper Corporation, POMS Corporation, Descartes Systems and Orbital Sciences.
“Rivermine is a market leader and innovator with a strong value proposition in the Enterprise Telecommunications Management marketplace,” said Curley. “I look forward to strengthening the company’s organizational capabilities, refining its strategy for products and services, and furthering its growth.”
Curley’s appointment to the Rivermine Software senior management team is the fourth since June 2004, when Mark Logan joined the company as CEO. Subsequently, Mark Madsen was appointed vice president of engineering and Robert King vice president of customer solutions in September and October 2004, respectively.
“Having worked with Stewart previously at another Columbia Capital portfolio company, I believe his expertise in both finance and software makes him an outstanding enterprise software CFO,” said Karl Khoury, partner with Columbia Capital. “His experience will help Rivermine meet the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly growing software company.”
Curley will be responsible for finance, accounting, human resources and contract administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland.
Rivermine’s suite of products provide an intuitive and unified way to view, manage, control, and support nearly all aspects of telecommunications management for global enterprises.
