Marriott CIO Carl Wilson Joins Rivermine’s Board of Directors

FAIRFAX, Va., October 18, 2005 – Further validating Rivermine’s leadership position in the enterprise telecommunications management market, Rivermine announced today that Carl Wilson, executive vice president and CIO of Marriott International, has joined its Board of Directors. Wilson leads Marriott’s business information technology resources worldwide.

“Telecom expense and inventory management has emerged as one of the toughest challenges and greatest opportunities facing today’s IT organizations,” said Wilson. “Rivermine is uniquely positioned to help enterprises gain control over their massive and complex telecom spend and assets.”

Marriott International (NYSE: MAR) selected Rivermine as their telecommunications management solution of choice in 2002, to help identify and analyze their vast network of telecom assets. Receiving ROI in less than six months of the software purchase, Marriott has continued to enjoy other benefits including increased customer service quality and business process improvements.

Wilson joined Marriott in 1997 from Georgia-Pacific Corporation, where he had served as their CIO and vice president of information resources. During his career, Wilson has been the senior vice president of management information services for the Food and International Retailing Sectors of Grand Metropolitan Plc. and vice president of information management for The Pillsbury Company, Inc.

“With his experience driving innovation and leading technology change at global companies, Carl brings a unique insight into the increased telecom management needs of network-centric organizations,” said Mark Logan, Rivermine’s CEO. “We are confident he will provide long-term leadership to Rivermine and strategic value to our customers and partners.”

Wilson joins the Rivermine board as an independent member. The total number of directors serving the Rivermine board has increased to six members.
