EMC Financial Tech Veteran to Lead Information Governance and Data Stewardship Leader Through Next Growth Phase Globally
McLean, Va. – September 14, 2017 – BackOffice Associates, the worldwide leader in information governance and data stewardship solutions, today announced that Stephen Webber has been named Chief Financial Officer. An EMC Corporation senior financial executive for nearly 20 years, Webber will oversee the company’s overall financial strategies and decisions moving forward, including the financial aspects of growth and internal development plans following BackOffice Associates’ recent investment by Bridge Growth Partners.

Webber most recently served as CFO, CAO and Treasurer for Cynosure Corporation, a publicly-held, multinational medical aesthetic company, including helping oversee its acquisition to Hologic Corporation in March. Prior to this role, he spent over 19 years at information storage leader EMC Corporation, serving in financial leadership roles of increasing complexity over nearly two decades. In his last position with the company, he served as CFO and Senior Vice-President of the Virtustream cloud entity brand – encompassing storage cloud, enterprise cloud and managed services. He also previously provided financial support to Executive Vice-Presidents within growing business units and various functional organizations.
