BackOffice Associates’ Board of Directors Appoints President and CEO David Booth as Chairman

Retiring BackOffice Chairman James Rogers Continuing as Board Member and Former BackOffice Canada CEO Ian McLaren Elected to Join Board

SOUTH HARWICH, Mass. – September 16, 2015 – BackOffice Associates, the worldwide leader of information governance and data modernization solutions, today announced its President and CEO David Booth has been appointed as the company’s new chairman of the board. Effective September 10, 2015, Booth succeeds executive veteran James Rogers, who served as chairman for the past five years. Rogers will remain on the board as an active member. In addition, Ian McLaren, former BackOffice Associates CEO of Canada, will join the board.

“It’s with heartfelt thanks to Jim that I take on this new role with BackOffice Associates. Since the day Jim became chairman, he has been a positive, guiding force for the organization and his energy and commitment to BackOffice is unmatched. I am also thrilled to have Ian’s wealth of experience in running world-class organizations among our accomplished set of members,” said Booth. “I feel privileged to take on this role at such an exciting time for BackOffice as we continue to execute on a strategy that is not only working but experiencing significant momentum in the marketplace.”

Booth, who has served as president and CEO for the past four years, has helped achieve significant milestones for the organization, including completing the successful acquisition of European data migration leader ENTOTA and securing a global reseller agreement partnership with SAP. Prior to his role as president and CEO, Booth held key positions in his over 30-year career in the technology industry, including at Computer Science Corp (CSC), Hewlett-Packard (HP) Corporation’s Americas Technology Solutions Group, Compaq Canada and Digital Equipment Corporation.

“Dave’s longevity of leadership and commitment to customers, coupled with his experience setting forth successful company-wide strategies and re-forging relationships with key partners such as SAP, makes him an ideal person for this role. I look forward to continue working closely with Dave to ensure BackOffice Associates cements its position in the data management and information governance marketplace and creates a positive impact for all stakeholders,” said Rogers.

McLaren joined BackOffice Associates as CEO for Canada when his company Headwall Software was acquired in June 2012. He has been in the technology industry for over 25 years, serving in various executive management roles.
