SOUTH HARWICH, Mass. – August 20, 2015 – Continuing its global growth trajectory and reputation for information governance and data modernization excellence, BackOffice Associates today shared its mid-year 2015 successes. The company has experienced a 32 percent increase in global customers since this time last year and continues to expand its operations worldwide.

“This is an exciting time for BackOffice Associates. We’re seeing increased market demand for our award-winning information governance solutions as more customers are investing in the long-term cost reductions and operational benefits of achieving sustainable data quality,” said David Booth, president and CEO of BackOffice Associates. “With organizations dealing with high M&A activity and overwhelming corporate data challenges, our solutions are focused on helping our customers overcome these hurdles and realize the full value of their data.”

Winning an unprecedented number of awards over the first half of the year, BackOffice Associates recently received several prestigious technology honors. BackOffice Associates was also honored on the Database Trends and Applications (DBTA) 100, which recognizes the top companies that matter most in data, and its Data Stewardship Platform (DSP) won the DBTA 2015 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Data Governance Solution.

On the product side, BackOffice Associates released version 6.2 of its DSP, featuring dspCompose™, an advanced, whole-enterprise approach to data remediation. Capabilities include cross-departmental, closed-loop error resolution that fully automates data quality maintenance. The company also previewed its dspGovern solution for active data governance, which is expected to be generally available by the end of the year.

The company recently deepened its executive leadership bench, bringing Alex Berry on board as president and chief operating officer of its North America operations. With Berry, BackOffice Associates is further investing in empowering its North American field sales force and consulting teams to drive overall corporate growth, increased revenues and expanded commercial partnerships and initiatives.

In the first half of the year, BackOffice Associates opened two new offices to support increased worldwide customer demand for its data quality solutions. First, a new Global Delivery Center (GDC) opened in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, joining BackOffice’s other GDCs in Norwalk, Ohio and India, to offer on-site data modernization experts as well as remote qualified resources.

Additionally, BackOffice opened a new sales office in Bremerhaven, Germany, which offers localized support in response to significant demand for additional sales and solution delivery support for Germany-based customers and their expanded data lifecycle management projects.

BackOffice Associates also continued its strong partnership with SAP, seeing continued market traction for its two solutions sold through its global reseller agreement: the SAP® Data Services Migration Accelerator application by BackOffice Associates and the SAP Information Steward Accelerator application by BackOffice Associates. With more enterprises preparing to implement SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA® (SAP S/4HANA), BackOffice also announced the availability of its data management solutions to help enterprises orchestrate the end-to-end data migration and modernization process for implementations of SAP S/4HANA.
