BackOffice Associates Announces Global Reseller Agreement with SAP to Help Accelerate Information Management Projects

SAP to Resell BackOffice Associates Solutions for Data Migration, Data Quality and Human Capital Management Technology and Content

South Harwich, MA – February 4, 2014 – Further building on a strong, established partnership, BackOffice Associates, a worldwide leader in information governance and data migration solutions, announced today a global reseller agreement with SAP (NYSE: SAP). SAP will resell two BackOffice solutions to help customers accelerate data migration projects and accelerate the governance of human resources (HR) data and other custom data domains. The solutions will be sold by SAP as the SAP® Data Services Migration Accelerator application by BackOffice Associates and the SAP Information Steward Accelerator applications by BackOffice Associates, custom edition and human capital management (HCM) edition.

“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with SAP with this global reseller agreement to help enrich the quality of data across an enterprise,” said David Booth, president and CEO of BackOffice Associates. “As many industry analysts consider the data quality market among the fastest-growing areas, companies are proactively demanding data quality solutions to improve operational efficiency and leverage the knowledge gained for further innovation.”

The BackOffice Associates solutions being resold by SAP will help customers complete their data migrations on time and on budget, yielding greater control over their data and more visibility through powerful tools such as a project management console. It is expected that enterprises will be able to benefit from rapid data quality results that will enable business-ready data for implementations of SAP software, all through a central, secure governance model. The solutions being resold by SAP are as follows:

— SAP Data Services Migration Accelerator, integrated with SAP Data Services software, will help migration teams connect, prepare and validate data prior to loading. Its project management console provides end-to-end visibility across tasks and schedules. The built-in methodology makes complex processes easier to manage, and intuitive screens and templates help reduce the time it takes to complete a go-live implementation.

— SAP Information Steward Accelerator

o   The custom edition provides data stewards and business users with a content-rich passive data governance solution. Integrated with SAP Information Steward software, it is designed to minimize time and effort spent on investigating and eliminating data errors and to deliver trusted data in support of data quality, master data management and information governance objectives.

o   The HCM edition provides the same benefits as the custom edition with the addition of specific content and reporting designed to accelerate and optimize data quality in implementations of HCM solutions.

“As a leader in the enterprise information management (EIM) market, SAP continues to deliver innovative solutions that enable companies to better govern and manage their data in order to drive greater operational efficiency and make informed decisions,” said Steve Lucas, president, Platform Solutions, SAP. “We are pleased to extend our offerings with these two outstanding product offerings from BackOffice Associates. We anticipate the applications will help customers rapidly gain business value from one of their most critical assets – data.”

As part of this agreement, SAP will resell the BackOffice Associates solutions as SAP-branded offerings.
